1. Purpose of Deposit
The Earnest Money Deposit ("Deposit") is required to secure your scheduled notary appointment with FastNotary916. This deposit demonstrates your commitment to appear for the appointment and allows us to allocate time and resources accordingly.
2. Deposit Amount
The required deposit amount is $10.00 USD, which will be applied toward the total notary service fee at the time of service.
3. Refund Policy
Full Refund: A full refund will be issued if the appointment is canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
No Refund: If the appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or if the client fails to appear, the deposit is non-refundable.
4. Application of Deposit
The Deposit will be applied to the final invoice for services rendered. If the client arrives on time and the notary service is performed, the deposit will reduce the total amount due at the conclusion of the appointment.
5. Rescheduling
Clients may request to reschedule an appointment once without penalty, provided notice is given at least 24 hours in advance. Additional or late rescheduling requests may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

7. Payment Methods
The deposit must be paid through approved payment methods provided during the booking process (e.g., credit/debit card, digital payment link, or mobile payment app).
Cash deposits are not accepted.
8. Agreement to Terms
By submitting the earnest money deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement is legally binding and enforceable.
